Ghost Flowers is a generative approach to creating an infinite number of patterns (’flowers’), through collaboration between a human interacting with the system, and the system which creates them. While the human has control over some aspects of how the flowers are drawn, the system introduces noise and complexity, ensuring that each flower will be different and unique every time. Ghost Flowers can be endlessly created through movement, as they slowly fade away over time. The distance of your hand from the sensor controls the size of the flower, and movement left or right controls the complexity. Reactive audio is synchronized with your movements and the creation of the flowers.
